My dad surprized me with a great gift tonight. This one will fit the new laptop he gave me earlier this year. It has more pockets than I know what to do with!

Big bandages for the day time, tape to make the huge, non-stick pads stay on for nighttime (because you need a bit more coverage when you're sleeping and less aware). Yep, these are must-haves when you rugburned your knee something horrid!

They Lied

They said we were in for a real blizzard. And the wind was bad, but the snow just didn't pan out. It was less than six inches--more like two if you spread it out evenly!

Floating and Falling

We've had storm clouds covering the sky for the last 24 hours--and the forecast says more will come, bringing snow. But they float so nicely here.

And in my utter and perfect grace, I decided to fall down the stairs tonight. And smack my head into the corner of the bench that sits at the bottom of the stairs. Don't ask my why I'm smiling, I look like hell--and there is massive swelling, but it's all spread out which helps hide it. The silver lining?
