Not an Average Sunday

I haven't worked at the mall on a Sunday for almost a year. But with my promotion, I'll have to work a few Sunday's a month. I went this morning to train. On my way to church, I snapped this shot of the mall sign and Pikes Peak.

Brewing a Storm

It's hard to take such striking beauty for granted when it keeps changing. I can't help it, I love this mountain. And today, there was a bit of weather going on up there.

Bright Spot

There was a wildfire near the Springs today, which put smoke in the air. Smoke and sunlight can create some amazing effects. As I was driving to work this evening, there was a bright spot with red clouds just over the peak, while the sun was just to the north. I love living here...

Distracing

I went to the library today. We have a terrace where you can sit in the spring. Even from inside, it's still a spectacular view. Hard to read when there is such beauty at hand.

Shine Upon The Mountain

I came out of the mall just as the sun was sinking towards Pikes Peak. And since I had two votes for this one (over a cool flag pic, that will likely go on my other blog), here it is--for your viewing enjoyment!

Looking Back

I have to admit, I love living somewhere where you can see a view like this in your side mirror. And yes, there's snow all over the road, and everywhere.
